End of the Year Schedule

We have lots of exciting events coming up as the school year comes to a close. Here are the events open to the public (just remember the monastery dress code):

Sunday, June 13 – Graduation (every one is welcome to come and see Rose and John’s Commencement) Time: 1:15/1:30 (for about an hour) Place: Saint Joseph’s Hall Commencement speaker: Dr. William Fahey, president of Thomas More College of Liberal Arts.

Thursday, June 17 – Field Day (only students & alumni participate, but an audience is always welcome to watch the fun races and competitions) Time: 12 (noon) Place: Saint Benedict Center (outside)

Sunday, May 30 – End of the Year Performance (a fun program — lasting a little over an hour — of music, skits, games, and demonstrations of a few  of the things learned this year) Time: about 1:30pm (come at 1:15 to be on the safe side) Place: Saint Joseph’s Hall

Wednesday, June 2 – Spelling Bee (grades 3-12 compete in two divisions through three rounds) Time: 1:00pm (for about two hours) Place: Saint Joseph’s Hall

Sunday, June 6 – The Wolf of Gubio (a one-act play by Mother Mary Francis performed by the high school — moved to this Sunday to keep the End of the Year Performance short) Time: 1:15/1:30 (about thirty minutes long) Place: Saint Joseph’s Hall
