The Winning Exhibit
Congratulations to all eighteen students who participate in the Science Fair for interesting projects and artistic boards! The topics this year ranged from caffeine to animal traps, sports to digestion, weights to senses and simple machines. Each science project includes a research paper, experiment, oral presentation, and presentation board upon which each student is graded.
2012 IHM Science Fair Results (top five places)
First Place – Samuel Bednar (11th grade) – Sports vs. Weather
Second Place – Luke Bednar (8th grade) – Do Colors Affect Memory?
Third Place – Joseph Kearney (10th grade) – Baseball Science
Fourth Place – Joseph Vasilak (9th grade) – Power Lifting
Honorable Mention – Stephen Bryan (7th grade) –The Strength of Wood
